Healthsource of Rogers and the Lions Club of Rogers present the 1st Annual Spooky Sprint 5K! Show off your best costume and participate in this Chip Timed, Fun 5K as an individual or team.. Be sure to bring the kids for the Lil' Spooky Sprint (10 & Under)!
Stick around after the race for Awards, Food, Drinks, Entertainment, & Music
This is an event for the whole community- If you are not a runner.. feel free to come out and join the race after party!

- A Minimum of (4) Team Members are required to be eligible for the Team Awards. No Maximum!

The Cause
Proceeds from the Spooky Sprint will go to the benefit of the CROSS KidPack Program
According to the USDA, one in five children in the US lives in food-insecure households. If these children participate in the free and reduced meal program during the week they are especially vulnerable to hunger on weekends. Although many MN families qualify for free and reduced lunches, there are still many who do not. To qualify for free meals in 2016-2017, a family of four can earn only $31,590 annually; to qualify for reduced meals, $44,955. This leaves a large gap of families who are food insecure with no lunch assistance available.
CROSS’ KidPack-Weekend Food for Kids program was established to help these children. KidPack snack bags are delivered on the last Friday of every month during the school year: The end of the month is when food-insecure families struggle the most.
There will be some months Hassan Elementary and Rogers Elementary will receive a second food distribution in order to provide greater access of food for the children, and create more outreach opportunities for CROSS to work with the families.
Snack bags include 7-8 food items that are easy to open, easy to heat, enjoyable, and healthier snack options. The food items are packed in brown lunch sacks and are delivered to children’s backpacks. All children are sent home with a form to participate in KidPack and parents sign up their children if they want them to take part.

Timing and Results
The Spooky Sprint 5K will be Chip Timed by Race Place Chip Timing. Results will be updated throughout the race and can be viewed immediately after crossing the finish line on tablet kiosks and a scrolling results screen.

Gun and Chip times will be provided for timed participants. Awards and Results order will be determined by Gun Time.
Refund Policy
The Race Organizers reserve the right to cancel this event at any time due to inclement weather and/or safety concerns. In any instance the event WILL NOT BE RESCHEDULED.
No Refunds. Substitutions may be considered upon request.
